It is the intention of the Sonoma County Junior College District that every member of the district community—all faculty, staff, students, and visitors, are secure knowing that every effort is being made to protect their health and welfare in the event of disasters and critical incidents that affect the District.

Therefore, it is the policy of the Sonoma County Junior College District to follow SEMS and NIMS guidelines by maintaining a plan for all hazard emergency preparedness in compliance with the California Administrative Code, Title V Education Section 560.
